Deus/outlaw testing on solid gold coin

Just for some testing of the machines on a gold coin. It's not a $1 dollar coin my mind was elsewhere. I ground balanced the Outlaw and first program on the deus but the ground here is pretty mild and was not a big factor. The coin was buried at about 5" and I had the 11" coil on the deus.

This was only for a fun test. I was amazed at how you change the machine and modify programs you can change this detector to your site or what you want to pull out. Even the depth. You can tailor a program to squeak out great depths for specific metals. Fun machine to play around with and tweak.

The coin..

Enjoyed the video, sure is interesting to see how much difference there is in the different programs.

how did you gb each deus program?

you might have tested it in the non-motion modes as well...more depth?

thanks for the vid.

Well just a bit of tweaking of the coin program and put the gold coin at 10" GB pumping method and yes the video in the end is badly done dunno what I was thinking lol. To much changing on the Deus. The outlaw could not grab the coin at 10" so I cut that out. Bad camera man but you will get the idea. I will try to make a better video with non motion and show the coin being buried at 12" and see what we get. This detector is alot of fun just playing around with and getting to know excactly what a small change does and how it effects depth and tone. Just more fun.

That's a great analogy! I haven't seen the vids yet but this statement caught my atttention...the silencer at -1 garners a little more depth but in the trash it will drive you nuts!

Thanks!!! It is true though. The videos are nothing special just simple tests on gold coin. I will be making a test bed with silver in it aswell to see how the different setting react. I will get better at the videos but really have n ot done alot and it shows lol.
