Deus pulls one from another hard hunted site

I put the Deus to another challenge at one of my hard hit sites. This old school is the site of an earlier school that burned down in the early 1900's. There was a school there back to 1889 as far as I've been able to find. We've found Indian Head, V Nickles and Barbers over the years but it hasn't gave up any of those in many years. We have pounded this site with every detector including the E-Trac and CTX of late. I felt like a quick hunt so I took the Deus to the site and did a little swinging. I got a nice easy clean mid-high tone and a solid 83 on the VDI from all directions. It wasn't real deep so I was expecting a piece of junk but was very happy to see a coin shaped object but couldn't make out what it was. It just had that old look. Got home and cleaned it up and it was a 1906 Mexican 1 cent. Very pleased with the Deus's performance and feel I will be pulling more from that site when I go back.

Congrats on that neat find.-----Sounds like a place that would have a lot of junk in the ground.-----What coil was you using?
