[attachment 23740 MDFindsApril4and506001.jpg]:lol::lol:Hey John:

I'm not shy, just computer insecure:throw:

I was practicing posting this photo, thought I had deleted it but it showed up anyway:wacko:. I was going to repost it, so I guess I'll cover the subject here.

Anyway, the Ace 250 is finding relics. This is a pin/button, just 9/16" diameter, with an American Eagle posed on the front. The back is imprinted "S & J, Waterbury CT. I have been trying to find out more about this pin, but so far have only found out that S & J is Steele and Johnson Button Co, in business from 1858 till 1920.

It appears this could be Civil War or WWI related.

Any ideas from you Relic Buffs?? Quarter for size reference

With some research and help from the Relics Forum, I know it is WWI, not CW. This one has a rim around it where CW buttons do not.

Not sure on a value yet; saw some at $15 and some at $20 on Ebay and a relics website. Doesn't matter, this one ain't for sale.:thumbup:
