Anyone use the DFX300? What do you have too say about it how deep dose this machine find coins at ?Any problems with it other than not enough hours in the day too hunt ? thanks and GOD BLESS EVERYONE........

Hey Ray, I haven't owned a DFX 300 myself but have friends who have and they like it but, as good as the DFX is, it will NEVER be a Minelab!

I just know that what I hear from people I know that it is a complex machine. It has many things it can do. Some I know have sold them after having them for a bit. Two guys in our club now use the etrac after selling the DFX. No doubt a good machine but not one I would get.

I have used one for several months and it was stolen.but I can tell you my own experiences ok. First is that people dopn't ;like it because it is so versatile, the way it was designed, that people have a hard timre learning it's programs.Now, It can be used straught out of the box as a turn on and go detector.As far as depth, "INCREDIBLE" I have done a local beach and found pinweight fishing weights, the ones that are the small beads type at up to 8 inches. I have found large Cewnts at 14 - 16 inches. I have witnesses to prove it. !!!!! I routinely find sruff the other guys have missed in areas thought to be hunted out. Bottom line on it is : If you buy one and have a bit of patience you will "NEVER" "EVER" need another land detector for the rest of your life literally. Me, I love it. !!!!!!!!! Remeber that detecting is a "LIFETIME" experience not a 2 month jolly. If you approach this detector with that attitude you will never be disappointed. I guaranty it myself personally. The problem with today's World is that people want everything "NOW". They have no time or patience for anything that does not gratify that urge immediately. If I had that attitude back in the 1970's I would never be talking to you right now for sure. So from me, Buy it, Use It, Have Fun, Relax and rake in the goodies PERIOD. !!!!!! Treasure Hunting is about the enjoyment of it. NOT the instant kill. !!!!!! Relax and enjpy your new life as a btreasure hunter with a detector that will make your life and dreams satisfying and full ok. Enough said. If you want you can PM me ok. PEACE:RONB

That depends on what you are hunting for. I have found a LOT of gold bracelets, chains and necklaces that didn't make a peep on my SE Pro in AM. This is just a couple of the better bracelets found with a DFX. The larger one with 109 high quality diamonds appraised for $5000. When hunting deep silver in the park, yea, I use the SE.

The MXT Pro is one of the best buys on the market........... It needs a smaller stock coil though, 12" is just too big for a general hunting coil, the 950 would have been perfect.
