DFX helped me out today at a new site...

Well, only got a couple of hours on it, but it was fun. The first hit was the dime, no doubt that it was a good one. The second hit was the quarter, almost did not dig it... It sounded pretty good, but was only VDI about 60? Sounded good from several angles, so I dug it and found a nail right next to it... That explains it. Did fine a size one or two child's ring, it was 10K 1/20 gold filled. But alas, did not find it with the DFX :(. The quarter is a 1935-D and the dime is a 1946-D.

NIice finds. Just got my DFX yesterday am going to try it out this afternoon at an old school, hope to find some goodies. Thanks for the pics.
 
If you are using the stock programs, be sure to up the gain and AC to get some extra depth. The stock programs are pretty lame.
