When it arrives I will run it through it paces on a good little spot that has plenty of shallow reefs and old timer diggings and compare it to my other VLF machines for a comparison. Depending on how the old Demon goes I may send it back home to get it tweaked and some good old loving from Tesoro. What do you guys think? Should I just send it to Tesoro anyway or just go by my own assessment. Missed out on a Diablo Umax recently but have always wanted one of the Diablo's.

I wouldn't send it off unless and until you check it out. If it performs in the range you'd expect, just keep detecting.
