There was a bad thunderstorm a couple nights ago and the high winds and waves made kind of a cut in the swimming area. I hit that first and dug a deep hole looking for whatever was making a sweet signal. At last I had it in the scoop. I shook out the sand under the water and looked in the scoop. Holey moley what a chunk of gold! I found a few coins and Zoltan the king of the Gypsies ear ring, but the find of the day was this man's gold bracelet. It is big enough to fit even MY arm! The thing weighs 346 grains on my powder scale, which is a little over 3/4 of an oz. I believe it is from another country and is marked 750 which would be 18k. Do the math on that and it is a good find! I knew when I picked it up that it was gold by the weight and the shine. I think it has been there a while

I had to include some shots of the place I took a week ago when the grandkids and I were up there one evening. Here they are playing in the sand.

I took an artsy kind of pict of the sunset.

Now here is the wierd shot. I took this night photo and when I downloaded it I noticed a ghost on the beach to the right of my grand daughter.

It looks spooky, but I think it is just my grandson running with a stick in his hand in the low light.
I have only hunted this spot three times this year, but have found something worthwile every time! DC
