did I Mention......?

It's 84 degrees and the skitters are on search and destroy missions in my state. When you have a lot of snow do you always get flooding in the spring? If it's above average. I watched the news last night and it was snowing in Denver. Hopefully it won't be much longer for those who are suffering from cabin fever and you can dig up some great finds and post them for us to admire. Safe and happy hunting to all you snow birds.

We don't always get flooding, Fongu. If there is heavy snow and a quick warmup we will, or if we have several days of rain while the ground is still frozen we might. With the ground frozen, none of it soakes in - it just runs off. High water is typical this time of year but not necessarily flooding. This spring has been really strange.

Lot's of flooding this Spring in Western Michigan. We got so much rain last week, I had ground water seeping through a small crack in the basement floor.
