Spent the last 3 days at jury duty. First time experience for me. Had to be there all day and then fly home and change and go to work. A few long exhausting days but got her done. Still have to catch up tomorrow but will do. Bad thing is that the wife and I had 5 days alone and between work and jury duty we only seen each other for about 15 minutes each day!

That is probaly all she wants to see you:rofl:. Just kiddin .

Hey, ya can get along better that way....remember, absence makes the heart grow fonder! ;) Sorry that you had to have jury duty the same time Tami was home! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Jury duty always amazes me or the way they must choose people. In my lifetime, I have served jury duty four times. I know many many people like my husband who has NEVER been called. I don't mind it as I think it's our duty but just can't undestand how they decide who to call as I know so many people in their 5o's, 6o's and even 70's who have NEVER been called.

HI Theresa, I have been notified and when mailing my notice back to them concerning how ill I was and coughing until I would vomit back then (as I didn't have any medicine to take with no insurance coverage in my late 50's and 60's) I wasn't called and that was the first time I had ever been notified for jury duty....I got another notice about two months ago and sent back the information of my illnesses and very little money and have not heard from them! Being 75 and cannot see or hear that well, it would be tough for me to serve well for jury duty! I was never called when younger nor was my husband! My brother, sister-in-law and her father have been called and served so I guess they choose those who they know will be willing and have served before! My son was also notified and he went until they sent him home because he was not chosen to serve! May God Bless you to be able to serve when you can! We need good citizens to serve and you are one! Amen! ;angel: Ma Betty
