Here's the Az sunrise as I was on the road this morn.

I didn't have a lot of success - happy to get the dropped minnie - 57 cal & the flattened bullet next to it. The soldiers flattened them for poker chips. I now have dug 5 chips. The little thing inside the horse ring is a percussion cap. That's what they put on the nipple of the rifle to start the fire when the hammer hit it. The nails are hand forged. of old things there. Learned something new. Didn't know they used flattened bullets for chips. Old nails, old ammuntion (bullets and cap) sure point to there being more there to be found. Good luck Steve.
