Didn't find that ring at the track........

Went back to the Race Track but didn't find that $3000 lost ring. Two of us
looked in the area but no luck. I suspect its already been found. But it was a
good experience.
Only collected $7.00 in clad today and another toy car on a chain. Its some
kind of gift from Allstate. Looks like a key chain.
My arm feels like its going to fall off. I was out for eight hours yesterday
and another six today. Thank god its the weekend and rain in the forecast.
Now I HAVE to stay home.

Are you digging up the pull tads ,foil and screwcaps.?
Likely that the ring will fall in those ranges.
Otherwise your pulling lots of clad out..

In fact, Katzy, if you are intent on the ring, you need to notch out all coins except nickels

Oh yea. I knotched out everything UP to foil. I kept foil, nickel, pull tabs, and everything else.
Amazingly, in the area we detected, I only found one quarter in the bleacher area where
she is said to have lost it. I'd expect more clad but it wasn't there. Lots of pull tabs and
garbage in the ground though.And lots of screw caps. Hopefully I'll get my MXT back sometime by the end of the
week. I want to try that one. I used the Vaquero this time aroound on the ring search. I get
tired of listening to that sound the Ace makes....ding, ding bong, ding dat dat ding. Drives me nuts;
but I'm a bit nuts anyway.

Why all coins? I kept foil, nickels, pull tabs and silver in case I might pick up a silver ring.
I admit I did dig alot of junk. Would having notched out silver and clad kept the junk down?
