Since I received my new AT PRO I have not used my explorer II at all this summer. I have found seven silver dimes and boat loads of clad in the exact same spot I have hunted with my explorer and tesoro. AT PRO is worth the money. Yesterday I dug a fired pistol bullet at 10 inches and a silver 54 dime at 7.5 inches. And the vdi was spot on every time I Swung over the dime. I thought the bullet was going to be silver but it wasn't but was happy that it was hitting that small of target that deep and maintaining the same vdi over most of the passes with the coil.

I have two detectors, an Explorer 11 and an AT Pro. I have split time with both and up until this year, I thought that any Explorer was unbeatable. The AT has made a believer out of me. I prefer the AT in a place loaded with iron and in places without huge amounts of trash where depth is needed, it plain goes deep. I still like an Explorer for raw depth, but when you consider the AT is less than half the price, it is putting high end performance within reach of most peoples budget. I am getting ready to add up my finds for the year and I know I have found many more Indians than ever before, with most being found with the AT. The AT is the best bargain out there! R.L.

I hear ya nuggetbuster, I got rid of my Explorer SE Pro, Exterra 705 and replaced my Excalibur with a Seahunter Mark II. Absolutely no regrets I even picked up an AT Gold as well and love it.Your confidence level is very important in a machine, and I'm extremely confident in my Garrett line-up to get the job done in any conditions.
