Difference between t2 ltd and t2 se??

Double beeper

New member
Am new to this and am looking to probably buy a good used T2 but am confused on what exactly the differences are between a T2 SE vs T2 LTD are. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance, Paul

functionally - no difference between them. I beleive the ltd was available in a camo paint scheme for a while. the regular t2 is green and doesn't have the boost or cache modes.

Not trying to steal your thread. Seemed like a nice place to ask my questions.

Are the tones, and the process modes still together, or seperated like the F75 LTD ?????

I know together they still do much the same as F75's. I'm just curious about the newer version T2Se or LTD ..
I noticed on the manual download from Tek forum the SE lists Disc on at a 10 setting ... My T2 I thought was on at 40.......in Disc. Or my Memory is getting bad LOL..

No problem on the additional questions. I am trying to find out more myself. I have heard that the T2 series is pretty close to being the same as the F75's, but the T2's are easier set up out of the box.

Any validation either way would be good by any users.

I have been looking at new and used T2 SE and LTD models and am still a little confused.
Some folks are intermixing both in the same ad, and I have yet to be able to see an official manual for each to do a side by side read through.
They look to be a heck of a machine. Will be using it for relics, artifacts and float copper. Thanks.

As has been stated, the SE black special edition has boost and cashe modes, the Ltd is exactly the same but with the camo livery...if you put it down in long grass you may lose it lol.
The Fisher F75 is more geared to USA conditions, the disc filters are finer or coarser, l can never remember which.l used one here in the UK, thinking l was upgrading from my T2, but had to revert back to the T2, the F75 was more sparky and difficult to tame on our ancient contaminated sites.
The T2 runs smoother, the F75 has a backlight, which is permanently on, and the F75 retains the settings last used when turned off, but the T2 takes a few seconds to set up so its not really a disadvantage not saving the settings last used.

There is no difference between them only cosmetic body colour .I use the SE often in boost with great results.Recently I bought a SEF 8x10 coil made for the T2 tried it Monday 5th March worked very well very good in all respects although I only found WW2 .303 bullets ! the land I visit was shot over by the RAF shooting at drones thousands of the bullets. On one field over 3000 so far but nice Roman stuff in between. The bullet always comes up at about 70 but although I know its a bullet you cannot pass it up just in case.

i used a t2se for 1 year and now i have the f75ltd and for me the f75 seems to be a little better with emi and has more tone options in boost mode i will say they are both awsome machines. if your a relic hunter i would go with the t2se and for coinshooting i would pick the f75ltd good luck hh

Thanks for all the good info. I need to file taxes and then will be picking up a T2se or ltd.........can't wait for the ground to thaw out......walleyes in the river, and relic/copper
hunting in the woods.
