difference between the Beach Scan MK2 and the goldquest.

The Beachscan MK2 was the predecessor to the Goldquest SS.
There have been a lot of small circuit changes to the Beachscan MK 2 to make it into the Goldquest SS. Probably the important ones to you as a user would be, the pulse delay was shorten to a minimum delay of 10uS. from the 15uS., it is on the Beachscan. This would make it more sensitive to small low conductive items over the Beachscan. A control was added to give the operator the ability to adjust the S.A.T.. This will allow you to make small adjustment to help with certain ground conditions. A volume control was added.
