Difference between the new and the old stock 950 coil?

i have searched but came up empty. i am buying another MXT and am curious as to the performance difference if any between the new "X" type stock coil and the original 950.

have very similar performance, or at least have for me lately. I've been using stock coils with a Vision, XLT, MXT and 6000 Pro XL to do some in-the-field comparisons. I have to say, I have used a 950 coil more in the past 5 weeks than I have since they were first introduced! After owning 20 XLT's, a half-dozen+ 6000 Pro XL/XL Pro's, 4 DFX's, 4 MXT's, 2 M6's ... I think I've now used then 950 more than I ever have with all of them combined!! The 950 just hasn't been my favorite coil, preferring an 8" or 6
