Difference in metal detectors

Would like to know the difference in the Excalibur 1000 and the Excalibur II i guess is there any major difference in the two?

The Excal 11 can be a 1000 or 800 . Same machine different size coils.

Not much physical difference except for the cosmetic changes.
I doubt you could tell which one you were using if you could not see it.
The 800 is the 8" coil and the 1000 is the 10" coil.

The new Excalibur II decals are thicker and do have a tendency to start pealing up at the edges after a while.

The Excalibur 2 have the Nickle Hydride battery pack ,the Excalibur has the old Ni-cad battery. The Excalibur 2 also has the lighter weight coil like the newer Sovereigns. Performance wise I been told from one of my customers that has both that the Excalibur 2 seems to be a bit more sensitive.

ok heres a bit more, the excal 2 has better shielding on coil cable and around main pc boardm lighter coil and is a bit more sensitive than excal 1:thumbup::detecting::clapping::minelab:
