DigDoug - Problem with CarePages - Unable to give updates for Brian or Poppy

Pete in MI

New member
When I get to the log in screen and put in my data - instead of going to the link given me in the email (last one is for Brian's Battle, 4/13/2010)
http://www.carepages.com/carepages/briansbattle/updates/2615248?client_code=etch&ipc=mur

I wind up with this warning I have never gotten before:

I have tried the link both directly from the email and also by cutting and pasting the link and each time I get the warning message. I tried a couple times last night and also several times this morning....still the same message.

I don't know of any changed I might have made to cause this and wondered if CarePages has been hacked.

So at this point I cannot get or pass on any updates for Brian or Poppy.

Just wanted to let you know. Wondering if you are getting the same problem or is it just me.

God bless you all including the folks.

Pete

I have notified CarePages support. Not proceeding beyond this point.

Something is wrong when 3 different browsers say the same thing.

It gave the option to proceed anyway and I did. I worry I'll end up with a virus. We'll see.

would hate to say its ok to go there and find it isn't really the CarePages but some hacker or something. Got enough problems with computers without risking more.

Will wait to see what the CarePages support people say. I just don't want to have to reformat this again or have my identity stolen...already have people sending out spam with one of my email accounts that I can't use anymore to send outgoing mail...BTW anyone getting an email from coinshooter at owly net - it isn't me....delete it immediately.

Just got this in from CarePages.....

You are a braver man than me Doug :)

I use AVG anti-virus, supposedly the best protection out there. We'll see....

well says it is but then also says it hasn't been updated for 6 days....so not wanting to push my luck...may already have a virus killling PCTools Anti-virus and not know it.
