"DIGGERS" Toekn Found

HI, all:

Well this is strange. Was hunting the Camp/Skirmish site I've been hunting the last month with my F 75 when I dug a token. When I cleaned it up I found it was from the "Diggers" of TV fame. I confess to watching the show, although I fast forward through the cartwheels and hooping and hollering. I like to see what they find. The face of the token says "Trade Dollar" and a shield with the letters "ATC" on it. I've seen the logo on their shirts and hats, but never knew what it stood for. On the reverse are four figures with metal detectors with the words "Anaconda Treasure.Com" across the top (ATC).Also above the detectorists are four names, including "K.G." and "Ringey". I went on the website and saw their promo stuff. I sent them an email to let them know I found one of their tokens and to ask what it was worth. Never got a response. At any rate, it sure makes me wonder what the token was doing there, I know they use Garrett detectors on the show,

Thins that make you go hmmmmm,

Jim,

I believe in one episode they were in that part of your area. I would imagine they salt the areas they hunt as a "we've been here, we dug here". They are hard for me to watch. So I don't watch them anymore.

Jim, with all the goodies you have dug on the site so far. It makes me think they aren't as good of hunters as they like to portray in their shows. Mark

Yup found two at an old site here around dodge. I was told by the Diggers bunch that "people lose things"

I'm sure they only hit an area long enough to find a few things and make a show. There's no way they could spend the hours to completely canvas an area. You watch them hunt and many times they don't even overlap their swings. I think we all would love to be able to get permission to hunt restricted sites, even for a day.
