Diggin fat coins

steve in so la

Well-known member
Got out early & hit some places, got a bunch of clad, etc. These 2 big fat coins sure gave me a start. The left one is a mexican coin from 1956, "cincuenta centavos" or 50 cents I believe. Someone correct me if wrong. Sure thought I had a silver dollar at first !
The other token is a Recovery token. Steve in so az

Nice finds, Steve, and congrats on getting out and digging up the goodies! Sure wish I could go :detecting: as I really miss it and get kind of jealous when I see all the goodies that are being found but I had my hay day for 25 years plus, so happy that I was able to go do it for that long! It has cooled off here and we are getting a real, nice slow rain for soaking into the ground! Praise God for favors, so I don't have to water my lawn and flowers! Still very dreary and gray looking all over and with the thunder, we'll probably have some more before it stops entirely! Thank You, Jesus, for Your mercy and Your grace upon my portion of MO! Amen! Ma Betty

Wow! Beautiful finds Steve! I've never found anything like that before. This afternoon I did check out one of our local schools and found 2 rings - both sterling silver. Sorry - no pictures. I found a couple quarters, dimes, and a handful of pennies too. Oh...I found two weatties too!

Steve, I don't read much any more because of my eyes, so I just play with my Computer and see how badly I can mess it up! :heh: My cousin in MS reads lots of books though but she can see far better than I do even though she is a year older than I am! Hope you have fun detecting and reading!  Ma Betty

It means 50 million!!!! Oh but then again that is 50 cents in US! :lmfao:
