Diggin things today

I hit some schools today as they are closed for the Rodeo today & tomorrow. Got 81 coins, bunch of junk jewelery, a Sackie one dollar. Guess I cut the pic close enough

However, one thing of note = at one school I could tell right off it had been hit hard when I got only 2 nickels in a while. I had my Fisher on 5 so I lowered my disc to 3,almost the bottom, and proceeded to dig 45 coins. Of these, 14 were nickels, always a sure sign that others have been using high disc. And if there's gold hiding it will be around the nickel setting I have found. Almost all the coins were 2-5 inches down . With more people getting into detecting every month one might have to go low on the disc to get things in the future. Dug a lot of junk also but that's the trade off. steve in so az

it's held in an off limits area but I did detect the old arena about 4 weeks ago. Didn't find much tho, Steve

doesn't seem that long ago you mentioned schools closing for the rodeo. Congrats on the finds Steve and wise use of the discrimination. The others are the losers. Congrats Steve.

WOW!! That is quite a haul, Steve! Congratulations.

That cat pin I am sure is a "collectible" ; I can't remember the name of the cat ar this time, but I had found one some time ago also.
