Digging a little park gold

Well finally got the F70 over a little gold, I knew it was only a matter of time, this is one heck of a machine. It's my first gold with this machine, all my other gold came with my F5 before I upgraded I have had a very good month hunting these parks by my house. I will post a picture to get an idea of just how much I have found in just a month. Mens wedding band 14k 2.05 grams.

Same settings as before disc 22 sens 60 thres -3 and 4h tones.

Always nice to earn some fun money when your having fun. WTG!

Nice find!! Were you using the 6.5" coil? I have been thinking of getting a smaller one . I see they are called an elliptical.
Does that mean they have the same shape search pattern as the 10" concentric?

Awesome find

I had just switched back to my 11dd coil and moved to a new park I haven't hunted yet. The 6.5 is a good coil and yes it read just like the 10 inch, gets about 5-6 depth and has a real tight hot spot, very easy to pin point, target separation is good also because you don't have your coil over 2-3 things at one time. I have a real lucky situation, I recently got remarried, to the most wonderful woman in the world, and when we got hitched I moved into her house and got rid of my lake house. We live just down the street from the areas oldest college, founded in 1842, which is old for the north texas, oklahoma area which we live in, so long story short I have 4 old city parks within a mile from the house, and as far as I can tell I am the only one hunting them, so I have covered half the basketball court with my 6.5 coil and needed a change of pace so I been people watching in the other park and had located some hotspots, I have become a park stalker, lol, when the kids are restless I load them up and take them to the park and see where the people are gathered, saw a sign in my yard and it was a "praise in the park" and I thought thank you Jesus for all the goodies they will leave me. I just had to go and see where they were all gathered. I have been able to run a higher sens setting with the 6.5 before the falsing starts, you really have to be in the mood for that coil, you are going to be stuck in an area not moving over much ground, but I will say that you can hunt areas that are considered unhuntable because of trash or heavy target saturation.

Sounds like some very exciting prospects in your area to look forward to. Thanks for chiming in on the 6.5. I am really torn between the 6.5 or a DD of some sort. Long live F70:wave:

I love my 11dd that I have on my F70, the 6.5 just helps out when the areas require it to hunt. The way I think about it is I the area is so polluted with signals I can't begin to locate anything to dig with the 11dd, the 6.5 swings into action covering less ground and allowing the separation of signals and recovery of the targets.

Alright! :clapping::please: Thats a nice score! What was the TID? Reason is, that looks like a large diameter ring and the 2gr womens rings TID in the foil range...I'm thinking that one gave off a larger signal on account of its diameter?

Mud it was a solid 24-25 with full confidence the sound never cracked or faltered and the confidence meter never moved. It was a sweet little signal maybe the size of a penny, the ring wasn't very deep maybe an inch at most. The pic is pretty close up the ring I think is a size 12 and really thin.

OK Thanks...dang, I thought it would have sounded higher...good to know...those foil signals do pay off after a while!
Mud

I am sure it would have if there was more mass there I have air tested a bunch I the wife's rings and the more mass they got the higher the run.

Sounds like a good area! Make sure to hit the outskirts, too! You never know where people would hang out, back in the day...
Its always good to find something gold!

Nice find. Congrats. CCH
