I picked this up at Lowes today for $12.95 It looks to be pretty sturdy and has a lifetime warranty,

Very nice, come back and report on it after using it for a while. I had one similar to it. Forgot to take it out of my backpack while going through security at the airport. Of course they found it and kept it.

It should do very well down here in our sandy soil. I do hunt one or two wooded sites where it may be helpful. Of course, I can always test it on my back yard around the oak and pine trees.

HOW did you get it so cheap? Its advertised at $24.99 on the Lowes web site. And that is close to the price of lesche digging tool that we know WORKS.
