Digging tools?

I wore myself out this weekend digging deep with the small Lesche digging
tool. I tried my entrenching tool but I soon hit the point where the top
of the blade was below the lip of the hole.
I think that I am interested in the T handle Ground Shark as it looks like
it is small enough to cut plugs but long enough for deeper digging.
The D handle Ground Shark looks like it will move more dirt but I wonder if it is too wide to cut plugs for shallower targets.
It may not exist but I would like to have one tool that will pick up where the Lesche digging tool leaves off for depth and still be able to cut clean plugs with it when needed.
What are your favorite deep digging tools?

Have you tried the RAPTOR by Preditor tools?
It will move some dirt Plus cuts thru The tuffest grasses!!!
Yet you can cut small holes with it as well ! Check out there web sight I know there is a link on this page some where !

If you are good at pinpointing you can make this out of a quart size caulking gun and 2 3/4" pipe, goes around 10" deep. I made it last year and it is my main squeeze. I keep a small spade in my pocket in case target is large, but very rarely use it.

The upper shovel is the Lesche Ground Shark and it's a killer detecting shovel. The blade is 3 1/4 X 12 inches and I use the 40" one. It's like using a trowel with a long handle. The kick plate in the back is nice too. It helps you to get down deep, goes through medium size roots pretty easily, and saves a ton of wear and tear on your hands.
