This is the first time I have completed a 4 dime Slam in the same park/same day--

Got 'em in a local park in about 2 1/2 hours with the SE

That's not too easy to do. Never seen anyone here post something like that! Congrats

Ron,

Congrats on the Dime slam. I did the same thing this spring. Four dimes, each a different flavor.

congrats Ron. That may be a record time too.

It was only going to be a hour or so hunt. At the hour or so mark I finally pulled the Barber in a real iron laced area. As I was walking back to the car, I got a deep hit and to my surprise out popped the Seated. Then I was thinking that I have the two toughest coins out of the way-- I have to give it a shot. Next the Rosie and then I got the merc!! I have never been happier to dig a merc! :clapping:

I have missed the Slam 2-3 times myself (after finding the seated) I have dug Barber, Merc and Rosie several times but Seated, Merc Rosie twice and Seated, Barber, Rosie on another occasion-- I was having flashbacks but then the winged lady popped up!!

Thanks for the comments

Ron

That doesn't happen too often, especially at 1 Park in the amount of time you put into that hunt. Looks like you walked over just the right areas to nab them great Coins. Nice looking Seated by the way. Any good Mintmarks on the Seated or Barber? Good Luck and HH on your next hunt.:detecting:

Nice job Ron. The closest I have made it is a Barber and a Mercury dime:rolleyes:

That seated wasn't minted in Carson City was it?$$$$$$$
