Howdy,
I finally got back out after a week of no hunting. Still swinging the SE with the 8X6 SEF, and still sniffing out signals in pretty much the same locale. First target of the evening turned out to be a Merc, and I happened to have my camera with me, so I took some shots of it in the dirt.

Love seeing that silver rim peeking out.

It was fairly deep, and gave a faint signal (had sensitivity running at 26 I believe).

Cleaned up pretty well too (I pack silver in cotton for the trip home, and don't rub it).

Also found a couple Wheats, one was a 39-D that turned out pretty clean too.

Felt good to get out again, and finding silver was all I needed!
