dirty money, snowpile hunting

The first target of the morning is this dollar bill. I also found the cell phone and the full can of Fosters today. Along with 12.27 clad for 135 coins. I got 154 coins yesterday, but 95 of them were pennies, only amounted to 8.30 ... found nearly 50 nickels this weekend, and a dollar coin yesterday, really hitting those gold signals to no avail yet, all sorts of junk rings and jewelry though, I hit snowpiles, schoolyards, sports fields, and the sledding hill today from sun-up to noon..stabbing was delightful, the beer was cold and frosty! Heading back out right now!:beers:

nothing like a cold one after a hard days work, thats really cool finding treasure in the snow piles lol hh

Recently, while hunting a very old home place, my brother found a really old, unopened can of Bud that had the pull off tab. Neither of us were brave enuff to taste it tho'

Great finds you've been having lately! HH - Dale

Thanks fellas...Hey Texas, I hear you on that one, I find unopened cans of beer in the river, and sometimes I give them a try...I will drink or eat just about anything unopened that I find metal detecting! Practicing up for my retirement! I went and got 52 more coins for 3.47...I don't remember seeing snowpiles this late in the year..we have robins out though, and I heard frogs croaking, so that means Spring is here..snowpile hunting is dirty work, lots of trash and signal heavy, have to hunt real slow with a high coil, low sens, and sort of just use the center of the coil to find the coins that are hidden in the dirt and masked by all sorts of trash....school starts Monday, so I wanted to hit these spots hard while I could. EZ you ever see that movie Fargo? Remember when the one bad guy hid that briefcase full of money in the snowbank? That's what I'm looking for!:detecting:

Mud, that is just sick! You gotta IM me and give me the details on what you are doing. My goal is to pay for my machine this year, so I'm all ears, that is if you feel like training a rook!

I know you're shooting the F70, and I have the F5, but my guess is that you are going for depth here, right?

Nice finds this year! I'm in total envy!!!! Sheesh!

LOL

HH ya clad master!

lol your funny mud. Once again no coins are safe when mudpuppy is armed with his F70.

stabbing was delightful

Way to go Mud! I'll be thinking how nice those snow piles would be around here in August when the heat sets in and the ground gets concrete hard.
