What do you do when you cut a plug out and the signal disappears? check this video out.

I actually don't mind when they disappear, at least I know it's a coin sized object that fell just out of detecting range rather then deep iron etc.

It of course happens more often with higher reactivity and smaller coils.

Nice job on finding the button, that is sweet.

what are the settings Calabash?
I had that happen a lot when I first got the Deus, once opened up the signal would disappear. I'd probe it and no sound so I covered it back up. after a while I decided to trust the Deus and kept on digging until the probe sounded off. it was mostly on deep dimes that the coil can't see once the plug is out.
nice going...

WOW
I don't know how many of those I've walked away form in the past. but not anymore!!
Thank You CD

What happens is that the target drops deeper if you miss it digging.

If it sounded good before, always follow through.

The odd time I've discovered a broken up foil ball, but more often then not, there is an actually target there.

pitch ,sens 93 but will run higher, react 2, silencer -1, disc 10, iron vol 1, NOT a good modern trash program.

I just smacked a nice gold ring that disappeared. The timing couldn't have been better for this video cause yesterday a friend was saying he had the odd disappearing signal with the Deus, only mentioned it after he found a cheap ATPro the night before that he's always wanted to try, it can't do no wrong lol.
Anyhow I brought him over and put the ring back in the hole, without any dirt on top, I got a sputzy nicle dime tone with the Deus, the ATPro iron toned on it.

Was really exciting, happy Thanksgiving.

Yeah, I love the sound of silence when I flip a plug and the good signal goes away because it usually means there is a deep goodie in the hole. That's the first time I have seen it on a vid Calabash. Good work!

Hey, where's the signature Calabash video sound track ????

For me, it happens a lot. Usually means breaking the "halo effect". I dig one more plug, and there the target is.
