Eric, you told me many years ago a day would come when you brought back ferrous/nonferrous by meter, and it would work as well in the ground as my PPD1 does in the air.
 
From all my use with the new Goldscan 5, I would say it's here now.
I will have them available here in the US with in a month or two.

Do you know if Goldscan-5 probe has a air core or
a metal core.
I have been experminting with a probe for CS,useing
a 4"ferite core.it will only detect a nickel at 5".
would like to get probe to go deeper.

why would you want a probe to go deeper? that defeats the point of pin point doesn't it
 
Why would I wont my pinpointer to go deeper.
We all have different ways of doing things.its most
help-full in mud, soft-sand and crack's in rocks.
