After being at work last night I saw things maybe a bit different than many. God said :
Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Mat 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
Mat 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
Mat 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Eph 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
The 'lifestyle' people have chosen - even though they are supposed to be 'one flesh' - they are not. (And a question is: Did they 'find themselves a 'mate' or did Gof bring them together? I would say they didn't ask God what He thought but what they felt they wanted.) The dissatisfaction in their lives is their search for 'something' but they do not know what that something is. For some they try drugs (and in many ways sex is akin to drugs) others try other things to become 'satisfied'. None of this dissatisfaction is lasting 'satisfaction' - just one more step further away from the 'something' they need....God.
As I mentioned seeing things from a different perspective allowed me to see 'appreciation' for what one has. I am so happy because there are 2 things I have these others don't...I have God in my hrart and I have a wife that is truly 'one flesh' with me and with God.
May the grace of God reach the hearts of each of those who are 'dissatisfied' and my they be delivered from the bondage of sin, to be set free, to become a child of God and if a child of God before, may they like the Prodical Son, return to their Father's loving arms. In Jesus name. Amen.
Give your spouse a hug and a kiss and say thank God for you and tell your mate "I love you'.
