detect places right after an event or festival? Like games, big family reunions, dog shows, concerts, etc. I don't too much but I have a few friends who do these all the time and they consistently get gold & silver jewelry, not to mention lots of coins and an occasional bill. Just thought I'd post this to maybe jog a memory or two :) Good hunting, Steve in so az

Yes I do most definitly. We have an annual 4th of july celebration at a local park here. Last year I went with my md and found all kinds of things. From toddler sandles to a silver locket. even a pocket knife and I came out with around 5 bux in change., thats some a couple of things I found, not to mention I was like the 5th person out there huntin that morning :) Cant wait for memorial day weekend. You know where you will find me :detecting:

Yes, Steve, I have here in my area after school picnics and carnivals, 4th of July in another state and found quite a bit....even a shiny silver quarter once lying right on top of the ground glistening in the sun! Then in the country when my ex and I used to visit his mom and hit the schools after they have their picnics and carnivals! Really nice to get there before other people do, but just cannot always do that....not for me that is!! God Bless! Betty
