does any one use the XYsetting

I have never used that feature,in theory it sounds good but one thats not used alot,well not by me anyway,like the controller,i cannot remember the last time i used it on the Deus,with me its all about the audio with a Deus.Of course this is just my opinion on how i ue mine,the control box is just a expensive lump of plastic that i do carry with me.

The audio is far more reliable at greater depths on any machine that what a screen is,the Deus is exactly the same.

I've tried it out a few times just to see if it was reliable to tell me if its a coin or not, seemed to be about 90% at 6" or under in unmineralized ground. Since those couple days I really haven't used it much. I might use it more often if it was just one button push away. Maybe... HH

Yes and it works very well to id bottlecaps when i jewelry hunt parks and lakeside beaches accurate to 6-7 ins also you still get target id number its tiny but there i also use multi id in heavy iron amazing how it helps you see the different targets in very close proximity to one another. I have dug dimes next too and under iron and other trash foil etc using the multi id screen note in the optional hidden screens you CANT pinpoint targets using pp button. Deus is an amazing physics defying unit you will love the machine you just need to tune it to youre liking. HH c t

wen you say multi i guess your talking about tones! multi is tough nut to crack 4 a newbee i was thinking more 3 tones
till i get use to the deus and then go back in full tones. thanks 4 the input

Hello in the hidden menu along with xy there is a multi target id screen say there are 4 targets close to each other in ground this screen will give you vertical signal strength bars as well as id numbers as you pass over the targets. I generally use 3tones. The full tones option is too much for me HH c t

No the XY and Multi TID screens cant be saved. Yes you can go back and forth from the Advance Screens to your Program Screen by using the back button.

I use it most hunts instead of the VDI/TDI screen. Seems more accurate for ID'ng good targets. Plus it looks cool! Now if only there were a way to add GB Pinpoint and other info to the screen or select it as the visual as well as the peak or horseshoe. Anyone listening XP?

the xy is another tool to help fight the trash out there xp deus has put a few good tools / modes to help take avantage of every site condition. and lets be honest

how long does it take to check things before you dig not long at all !!

I AM STILL LEARNING

but go to OPTIONS then hold down pinpoint & + button at same time this should take you to ADVANCE MODE select

visual xy screen and it should come up i think there a couple of youtube on this hope it helps !
