Does anybody hunt in 4KHZ?

Just wondering if anybody uses the 4 KHZ frequency? I watched a video on youtube where this guy found 4 gold rings in 1 day hunting at this frequency. I thought that was strange & why wasn't he hunting in 18KHZ? I tried it the last time I was out & found 2 junk rings in about 1/2 hr or less. Just curious if anybody else has any experience finding gold jewelry in this frequency?

I've been hunting in 4kHz for the last week or so - and at least for me it helps with squelching deep iron and bottlecaps. Deep copper and silver coins are more easily detected in my opinion while using this frequency. Cant speak to finding gold as I'm still looking for that first piece of 2014!!!

Yep. I gave the CZconnoisseur some tips/hints and he came back with a great review and info! Great finds CZ. I think I have a convert, LOL!
