Does anyone dig any FE numbers over 13?

still learning and don't want to pass on some good stuff.
probably been wasting some time digging the lower FE with the mid CO numbers, like the FE 8-10 and CO 10-22...
when do you guys pass on targets and does the depth make you think twice?

If I am working a farm field I dig just about everything that sounds good. I use long tones and if there is not a lot of wavering in the tone, and its pinpoint is not a long signal, it gets dug. Depending on the soil, I get signals w/ FE of 9-10, 13-20 and plenty of buttons w/ CO 2-30. Its the quality of the audio and the pinpoint size that determines when I dig. I tend to be more selective when digging in trashy house sites, or where digging is more difficult.

Absolutely! California soil is mineralized, and there's lots of trash in the park grounds around San Francisco. That will definitely cause the FE # to be higher, and will keep you guessing. That's part of the fun in metal detecting IMHO.
