Does anyone know.... are we any closer

Maybe a month or less. Just a guess at this point, but I know several avid nugget hunters who are anxious to see what it has to offer. Many start getting ready about the end or August to the end of September to start their nugget hunting southward for the fall and winter.

Naturally, the rest of us would really like to see how it might benefit our relic and other hunting needs, too. :)

So, I'd guess we might be swinging them in about a month. :detecting:

I can understand the disappointment of a new detector that doesn't work as we hope it would.
On the other hand has Fisher/Teknetics released about 14 new detectors within the last 3 Years with features and performance not seen in that price range before.

New Innovation carry the risk of making mistakes. Some companies don't come out with new detectors anymore, because they're afraid of the risks ( New detector not selling well and cover the cost of R&D ).
I'm glad Fisher/Teknetics comes out with new detectors even they may have a problem at the start. Once fixed they're always ahead of the competition.
The Gold Bug and Teknetics G2 will be awesome detectors for the money once the problems are taken care of.
