Does anyone trade for machines?

Just curious.. I am new to the site so not sure whats allowed and not allowed.. wondering if people trade things for detectors? I have been trying to trade for one on craigslist but mostly get lame offers. One guy was going to trade me a minelab etrack but he flaked and traded to someone else even after we had a deal.

Is there some place where people can barter?

Yes! we trade detectors here all the time. But they are some basic requirements before you can post/list an item in the forum classifieds. (See rules in the header area at the top of the classified sections)

Trades are usually listed something like this,
WTT (want to trade)
list what you have, pictures help.
State what your looking for.

Sorry to keep you in suspense! Not sure if I can say now, I haven't read any rules yet. But I have a .45 to trade.. poses different problems trading guns. I bought a nice kimber so I don't need my ruger anymore.

I keep getting low balled for it to. I would rather sell it but would get a half or quarter the value. Plus it has to all be legit.. no felons, under 21the etc..
