Does the F 5 have a fetish for dimes ?

Joel-Winnipeg

New member
First time out with the unit trying it out.
Really impressed with how it works.:fisher::thumbup:
Tried it for an hour found 10 dimes and 10 pennies 2 nickels.
Ratio of dimes is like nothing I've seen with my other
detectors.:whites::garrett::tesoro::bounty:
First fisher that I've used and if it does this it'll be hard to put it down.
No quarters or $1 coins as off yet and that could be the location.
Anyone experienced this with the F 5 ?

Off to a good start Joel. No mistaking the Canadian clad dimes. You'll know the quarter when you get one.
The Loons and Toons will come in as high tones.
I'm itching to get out myself if the weather will just cooperate. Snow and rain on the way for the next several days.

Thanks Sven used those settings that you
sent :thumbup:

I think all the F series detectors like small targets. Very sensitive machines. How is the Red River doing this year up in your neck of the woods? Grew up along it on the Minnesota side just north of Fargo. My folks battled flooding almost annually. Drop down to the Park Rapids area in early June and I take you to a couple of spots. Enjoy the F 5. HH jim tn

Yeah I think Jims right...the F70 absolutely spanks dimes too. They cant escape even a fast sweeper such as I.
