Does the F70 work in wet beach sand

my guess, you will be ok in the dry sand but the closer you move to the salt ocean the more falsing your gonna have... you are talking salt water beaches, right ??

as for the settings, disc set just at iron knock out and sens as high as possible until it becomes unstable/erratic. At least that's how I would approach it. Anyone agree/disagree ?

I used to use my F 75 on the beach and while a bit chatty over wet sand, it worked well enough to find some coins and and some jewelry. I don't remember my exact settings, but for wet sand I would set the g b somewhere in the teens. That seemed to be the most key ingredient for stability. I usually hunted in all metal except for hunting the dry sand towel line. There, pretty much like a park hunting setup. As mentioned, dry sand, no problem. HH jim tn
