Does the Simplex (or any detector really) have a setting that keeps track of usage hours?

I'd love to keep a running tally of hours I've used the Simplex (but keep it secret from my wife ;)).

Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this feature on any detector, and if it's possible, maybe it can be added to a future upgrade?

Never heard of one that did that swinger.-----Sounds like a great idea to me though.-----Would put an end to some of these "tall tales" thrown around about having detected 327 years (or what ever).-----It would show how much of that time was actually spent swinging a detector. :)

But that little clock that ran when you turned the machine on would add 300-500 dollars to the cost of a detector.
