the O8 is a nickel magnet! In just a couple of times that I have been out with it I have amassed a total of about $2.00 in nickels plus some junk jewelery and rings.I have used a combination of the 11 and 10 coils. Settings : ground 50 , 3 tone, iron discrimanated out, sensitivity at about 60. Of course I have also pick up a bunch of clad. And I haven't used the 5 " coil yet! So far so good! HH. Al
