(You might have to be signed in to Facebook to see/hear Shelby singing. She did GREAT.

I have the good version on my real camcorder, but don't know how to convert it to digital. It was done on a flip camera, so the quality is not great.
Hope you all enjoy.

Well dang! I sure would like to see the video, but the link won't allow me to. I bet Shelby did a great job! If anyone wants to be my FB buddy, send me a PM and I will give you my information ;)

Sorry. Can't see it as I don't have a Facebook account. Tried FB once but didn't like it and wasn't compfortable with the lack of security and or control of my page.

I'm not crazy about Facebook as they are finding new ways to make privacy a problem. Thinking of dropping it as well.

I have a 'box' that I connect to the camera and then to the laptop. It came with software to capture the videos from the camera, allows for editing the video and converts it to an avi file so it can be posted.

Bought it at Wal-mart some time ago for about $70 and have used it several times. It is called DVDXpressDX2 by ADSTech.

It also converts videos to other formats as well.

will it convert my Hi-8 to digital?

My video camera takes a small cartridge for recording video on (not sure if it is an HI-8 or not). As long as the camera has output jack for the cable to plug into (kinda like the small earphone type plug).see pic - you should be able to take the movies off the camera and send it to the computer. If you have a CD or DVD recorder on your computer you can burn it right to a disc.

Here's some pics

Hope this helps.

Thanks Pete but I saw Mike's post and though I couldn't hear too well, I did get to enjoy Shelby's singing voice! She will go far in serving our Lord as long as she leans on and keeps following and obeying Jesus! I would have to sign in with a password on FB and I don't want to do that! May God Bless and thank you for your service for our nation, the USA! Keep faith in Jesus and He will see you and me through all the trials and temptaions and then we'll meet together someday in the Sweet By & By with our other faithful brothers and sisters! Amen! Ma Betty
