don't let the bugs scare you. Buy an SE, if you feel the urge.

I bet.
I, was probably the most recent poster to mention the split screen issue. So let me explain.
Even though I have a problem with a "split screen". My SE, has totally impressed me.
Maybe, in about one or two times detecting a friends properties, that have been detected many times by myself, and others.
I found some deep good finds, with dead on target id with my SE.
I am still learning it, But I know it is a great machine. Don't get me wrong, I like the other brand machines I own. But the Explorer SE, id's and detects deeper.
And like any other hi-tech device, bugs will be present at launch of the product. However, from my e-mail correspondence with Minelab about my particular issue. I am confident the problem will be resolved as anyone Else's would. I know it sucks when you have your heart set on a machine, and along comes some clown like me, with a post that screws up your mindset.
Trust your gut! and get the machine you want. And be confident that if a problem arises your warranty will be honored. Here are some of my SE finds in a few times out.
Take it easy

Nice finds JASONSPAZ1 :yo:, that walking lib surely is a nice addition to your spoils. My next machine will defiantly be a SE.:minelab: The EX II that I am currently using is a little over one year old. So, I am sure by the time I purchase a SE, all of the bugs will have been worked out. Again, nice finds. Happy Hunting Grounds,

Savage.
