Don't mind the snow as the snowblower was working very well..

til the wheel fell off. Being the handyman that I am I made a temporary fix and went out and blew more snow - even helping do the neighbor lady's drive since her and her husband have separated. Speaking of separated and temporary - the wheel fell off again. Nothing to fix it with this time and there's still snow in both our driveways. Oh well. Used the snow rake I built to pull some of the snow off the roof so ice dams don't form - had that happen before - looked like a swimming pool up on the roof. Then got out the shovel and extension ladder and went 'up on the housetop' like in the song amd shovelled snow off the almost flat roof where we started our swimming pool a couple winters ago - before it leaked in the house that is.

Ran power cords so Casey could string up some Christmas lights. Already put in a full day. And in about a half hour will be doing my security job. Thought life was supposed to get easier.

On the good note before I head off to work - us 'old folk' say that the seasons pass faster and faster as the years go by SOOOOOOOOOOOOO that means detecor season will be coming soon - Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh!

Have a great day/night everyone.

unheard of here - didn't know one had to rake the snow off the roof ! Learn something every day, Steve in so az

did ya get? We got a foot!

in the North where the snow is wet and heavy the snow has to be taken off the roof to keep the snow from caving it in and to keep the gutters from backing up under the shingles and causing problems, as leaks can occur when blocked with snow and ice and then melts! But Pete needs to be careful and not fall or slide off that roof! :(

God Bless!

they don't allow those any more either as they supposedly tore up the roads. Nylon studs just aren't the same as the metal ones. I think the snow chains stopped bring used when we went from reat wheel drive to front wheel drive.

Actually I had forgotten about snow tire chains Henry.

...Troy-Built is it? I was going to mulch my leaves a couple of weeks ago and the front left tire was flat! Finally got it off but in the process noticed a bolt missing that mounts the mower deck to the frame! Got the tire fixed but haven't found a replacement part yet so when it warms up a little I'll have to rig it hold for one last leaf mulching.

Thanks for your prayers!

I hope you guys have a Very Merry Christmas!!!

God bless,

my Minelab! :(

was like a top hat that is hammered onto the end of the rod holding the wheel. I found a local place for the parts but it closed in 15 minutes from when I called to find out if they had the parts. No way I could make it in 15 minutes so guess it won't be fixed til Monday. Hoping we don't get much snow between now and then.

I still have a flat tire on a wheel barrow I hate to take apart just to fix. Haven't used it or had a use for it all summer so when it gets fixed isn't a rush like the snow blower.
