Don't Overlook the Mini

Sven

Well-known member
Reading the German forums, I found this.
Rough translation to English via Google.
Those that want a good entry level machine, choose the Mini.

Conclusion for the Vista Mini: He, too, has the single tone signal, however, the signals arrive at the Vista usually very sharp and clean, so that looking at it more secure. The default disk is very good, with only a " almost "perfect signal reaches a cross pivot, and the sound is very clear either, or has a detectable crack. That's what I initially tested by digging and it was then always iron. Above all, one does not feel" MMH "was the Signal just perhaps no iron, or, I again heard good things about running that lie deeper, etc., he gives a just a good feeling. The Mini can be swung very quickly compared to the other, so even large surfaces scan quickly. The only shortcoming the minimum top-heaviness and a very slight creak of the carbon rod in swing very fast is to be called. The good treasure depth, the clean u. clear signals, good handling, the automatic ground balance, very little noise, fast Recovery speed and last but not least the nice price make it to me at the perfect entry-level detector, let the make up after a short very fast good finds. My decision is therefore clear to the Vista, better a little more than for Garrett and much more less than for the XP issue, and you have a detector of the fun gets at sondeln over a long period. Finally, the testing has made far much fun, but when one is alone already become somewhat strenuous with 3 detectors. Actually, I had to rotate also videos, the camera would have liked it but already have staple at his head, that was me a little too cumbersome. An attempt at digging with one hand was kind of shaky. I've but quickly abandoned criticism, among other things are desired, just please do not accuse most partisan, which I do not like. Greetings and good finds Günter

the report you have described very well since I myself will go with vista I can only confirm all that, the signals are sharp and clean. the disk, like it better like the Tesoro.

The test mentions the Ace 250 was the poor loser. The XP entry level machine came in second. The Mini came in first. One said the Mini was comparable to the Tesoro Compadre but, they would chose the Mini over the Compadre. I would think if someone had the Tesoro Silver, as it has similar features, the choice would be the Mini over the Silver umax?

Think these are ground test depths, moderate mineralization and high mineralization.

If it ever quits snowing and/or raining, I hope to do a couple of videos on the Mini and Mini Max... Both, from what I have read, or excellent machines.. I have them both in stock but honestly were "playing" with the RELIC, SMART, etc. first... :nopity: Everybody, please bear with me.. Richard

Too, I have learned how to piece videos together :hot:

Hey Nibbler thanks for the report what kind of depth was you getting ? if you have a vid camera would be cool to see a nail test

Sven, thanks for the test comparison charts. Some eye opening results. The recovery speed results were very interesting. The Deeptech machines tested very well verses higher end machines...Stuart

Dug my deepest target last weekend in a field.3 ring mini between 8 and 9 inches.Targets are just not mega deep in the areas I hunt, but the mini has proved itself more than once.

that's great would like to see comparisons between the Tesoro vaquero or silver umax or outlaw for depth and signal clarity...........thanks for the feedback nibbler!
