From the land of the Bluenose...got out today for a too short two hour hunt along the Bedford Basin area stopping at two hunting spots. The first one yielded a nice 1789 British penny and not much else. After getting torn apart by the thorns and cutting my legs to pieces thought it was time to move on to the next spot which is a small park on a lake. Here the penny parade started and was really surprised to pull not one but two silver rings from this location. 4 silver rings in three hunts...ummmmmmm and no bugs..........ummmmmmmm. Guess that means the leeches and swimmers itch will abound this summer !
Try and get the photos of the past few hunts on line tomorrow if the sister-in-law is home.

Congrats Leslie. You sure got a lot for a short hunt. 2 rings and a 1700s coin is hard to take <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
The overgrown area sounds like it has a lot of potential if you can get the briars and thorns knocked down.
