Does anyone know if this Dry Goods Token dates back to the Civil War? It was found at a Union Camp in SW VA.

Google: Smith Murphy & Co and Dry Goods and Phillidelphia

They were in business in 1898

HH,

In the US Tokens book 1700-1900, your token is listed as having a date of 1845-1857. $20.00 in Fine condition. $23.00 in VF. Changed their address to 237 Market in 1858.

I would post it on the relic forum. CSA ghost could tell you.
