went through a dry spell and somebody left a mess of dead plugs - posted about that already. The rains came and the ground is nice and moist down quite a ways now. dry spell detecting also - at least it seemed like it with just some old wheats over the last couple of weeks (oldest was an '09 - no S, no VDB)). Went out a couple of times today and nothing but nails and clad the fist time out. Hey Bryce - you had a hunt with your buddies in a park that is just like what I always have to deal with - welcome to my world of nails. Went out a second time this afternoon/evening and rescued a wheat, a '37 Merc. and a 1902 "V" nickel at one of my local parks. Feels good to finally see silver come out of a hole after several outings.
