Dual Field set-up and settings

I have just started using the Whites Dual Field. Most of my hunting is on Vancouver Island beaches. What setting do you all recommend? Also I have found that by mounting the control box with the knobs facing me, it does not hangup on my collection bag when chest deep in the water, is this a problem and why?

Some guys run The gain (full blast) with great success with all the finds to prove it...... I tried The DF here in Southern California Beach's and could only run The gain a 1/2 inch below the triangles (presets) because of EMI issues..... Note PI machines are more subject to EMI than VLF detectors, so it depends on your hunting location........... good luck the DF is a great PI
