Is the new G2 the only MD that uses 2 processors? I would like to get the G2 but being out of work it is going to take some manuvering. I may even consider selling my Silver uMax and extra coils. I wonder if Richard would take them on trade? Ive done the tot lots to death. Selling everything thats not bolted down which is not me. My wife is entertaned with this. Even selling my saltwater rods and reels.
 
The Fisher Gold Bug 3 is strongly rumoured to be the same machine apart from the stock coil and the stem, both are made by First T as you know, have a look at the pictures and specs and you will see the similarity.

The Gold bug has the 5" coil as standed and the G2 the 11" coil as standed but is around $499 for the G Bug, $200 cheaper maybe worth a look as the 11" coil is an option for the G Bug if you get a bit more cash later on.
