Dug a nice 2 piece buckle today

GRAY GHOST

New member
Hello, all. Went to an old house site in Central Virginia today and at first dug the wreath part, then a foot away the tongue. Really cool! Research shows it to be a C. 1905 US Army Garrison Officer's two piece belt buckle. Looks like it was once gilded. It doesn't have the magical CS letters, but hey, i'll take it. Thanks for looking, and good luck.
