Dug a "quinceanera" ring

In the Spanish culture when a girl turns 15 she moves from childhood to adulthood. This ring was presented then. ANOS means Year - & is followed by the 15. It is stamped 10K & Mex also & has a bunch of little stones around the design. I checked with my diamond tester & they are not so.

And here's how I dug it = I was swinging along in a big field at a school and got a signal on low disc (which I always use) but tested it on higher disc and got no signal at all. I have a trigger to jump back & forth. I dont usually use the higher one as it misses a lot of goodies. I was getting tired so said "move on". About 5 feet away I thought "it could be a nickel as they do exactly that so went back & dug the gold ring. Nuff said !

Here's my take for the day -49 coins, 2 other junk rings (one says 18K HGE ) , a pair of ear rings & misc stuff. Steve in so az

You are the king of silver and gold in the tot lots!

some years back I could see that the great majority of old coins here had been dug by people so I decided to concentrate on gold/silver jewelry. Old coins are more interesting but one has to go with what they are dealt :) Steve

Nice ring Steve!

steve do have any feed back on a rare 5x10" ill.coil for the1266x>it was made before the d.d. coils were made.works good, still unknown if its better than the stock coil.also bought a mint 1265x one owner with the 8"concentric coil and guess what. the coil does better than the stock coil on the 1266x.thanks -----bill

Bill - the only experience with a coil other than the stock 8 inch one was when I bought an 11 inch coil for deeper signals. It wore out my arm swinging it in short order. And this was about 18-20 years ago when I was young yet :) I am very happy with my stock one. Glad you got a 65 - I ran one for many years, steve
